Returns Policy

Returns Policy: Full Terms and Conditions

1) Validity Period:

You have up to 7 calendar days to submit the Returns Policy Form for your product order, from the date you received it, based on our tracking records.

For example:

  • Purchase Date: 1 January 2024
  • Order Delivered Date: 4 January 2024
  • Return Policy End Date: 11 January 2024

2) Conditions to be eligible for return:

  • Original Packaging: Must be kept intact within the 7 days to be reused for the repackaging.
  • Product Condition: Product(s) must be dismantled and placed back into the Original Packaging. They must be intact and in excellent condition, with no missing parts.
  • Packaging: Original Packaging must be taped shut to be handed over to the arranged Courier for collection.
  • Purchase Validity: Order must be a direct purchase from Office Chair Store.
  • Right to Reject: Office Chair Store reserves the right to reject any return requests which do not fulfill the terms and conditions stated.

3) Exceptions / Exclusions from 7 Day Return Policy:

The following are excluded from this policy (non-returnable & non-refundable):

  • Shipping Fees: Shipping fees paid in the original order.
  • Gift Cards
  • Promotions: Redemptions from external promotions, e.g., Credit Card Gift Redemption.
  • Third-Party Purchases: Purchases from external sites and all other 3rd party sites, are not eligible for this policy (e.g., Marketplaces such as Amazon, Bunnings, eBay).
  • Accessories: All accessories including free gifts.

Office Chair Store reserves the right to discretion when determining return exclusions.

4) Damage fees & Deductible fees:

  • Deduction Fees: Up to 30% of purchase value or product value, determined after inspection of the returned goods.
  • Inspection Criteria: Condition of returned goods, overall packaging condition, and any other parts relating to the product(s).
  • Fee Deduction: Any applicable damage fee will be deducted from the to-be refunded order value.
  • Clarification: Any applicable damage fee will be clarified in the email for the refund update by our relevant operations team.
  • Non-dismantling Requests: Return requests without dismantling of the product are applicable.
  • Damage Liability: Any damages found on the products are liable to up to 30% of the product value.

5) Return Shipping Cost:

  • No Shipping Charges: There are NO shipping charges for the customer for the return of the product.
  • Pickup Arrangement: Office Chair Store will contact the consumer upon receipt of their request to arrange pickup.

6) Statutory Right of Return:

The benefits given to you in our Return Policy are in addition to other rights and remedies you have under law to return our products.

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure
